St. Patrick's Day, The Pogues and Joe Strummer
Normally, I'd be disinclined to run a video of The Pogues without Shane MacGowan (who is, as of this moment, still alive). I would make an exception for The Pogues with Joe Strummer doing London Calling, in London, on St. Patrick's Day, 1988, which is what this is.

Have a good St. Patrick's Day. Go Siena.

Not only is Shane still alive, he's back with The Pogues and playing at the 9:30 Club tonight. Kinda hard to believe that he outlived Joe Strummer, huh?

I thought about that after I hit publish, that is kind of strange. I didn't realize the Pogues were here last night, I bet that was crazy. I saw them a couple of years ago when they first started this batch of reunions. I'm doing a lousy job of watching for 9:30 Club shows, I had no idea that the Feelies were there Saturday until I read it in the paper Monday morning. Suck.
